Winergy has 25 years of experience in the field of the design and development of asynchronous generators for wind turbines.

In cooperation with the worldwide leading wind turbine manufacturers we develop double fed generators for stations in the power rating range up to over 5 MW, designed for on- and off-shore projects.

The manufacture of generators has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. In Ruhstorf, Winergy has one of the most modern test benches for electric machines as well as complete drive systems.

In the summer of 2005, the new test bench with a test capacity of 5 MW was commissioned.

Based on tried and tested components, Winergy wind power generators are adapted to the specific fitting requirements of the drive system in the respective wind turbine.

The production process as well as the supply chain management are set up for an economical series production.
