The Dynavert XL® system covers a slip range of up to ± 35%.

It provides constant voltage and frequency, independent of the rotor speed; its microprocessor-controlled power electronic system keeping constant output voltage and output frequency. At any point of time, the power electronic system supplies the respective slip power and/or energy and feeds it into the rotor.

Thus, all properties of a synchronous generator are imparted to the asynchronous generator.
